A Lawrence small business owner will be the focus of the U.S. Small Business Administration‘s June Web Chat on disaster recovery.
Luis Yépez, owner of circuit and computer products company Mainstream Global Inc., will talk about his experience after the Merrimack River flooded the company’s headquarters in 2006. Mainstream lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in inventory and shut down for three months, but was able to stay in business thanks to an SBA disaster loan.
Yépez will talk about his experience and offer tips on preparations for physical disasters during the Internet broadcast on June 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. Web chat participants can post questions in advance at the SBA web site.
