HEALTH CARE COSTS
We posted a question for discussion last week on LinkedIn that asked for the best ways health care costs should be cut. Here’s part of a response we received:
"Doctors know more about patients than a clerk with a table of procedures, or a well-meaning politician or regulator. Doctors should be paid for applying what they learned. Tort reform, loser pays, would help. Set up a fund contributed to by doctors that could be used to cover medical care for patients who have had unfortunate outcomes. These two things should reduce a doctor's overhead so he/she can focus on their patient at less cost."

‘OCCUPY WORCESTER'
A LinkedIn group discussion launched by member Bill Gonzalez asked for reaction to an “Occupy Worcester” group on Lake Avenue and whether it has had any effect on area businesses. Answering a response, he added this to the thread:
"I am surprised at their choice of location. It doesn't seem that location would draw too much attention to it. I could barely see it from the road."
