OF NOTE
Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust donated $2,500 to the Cleghorn Neighborhood Center in Fitchburg, for after-school programs.
Webster Five Cents Savings Bank donated $5,000 to the money management program of Tri-Valley Inc. of Dudley.
Seventy-five Assumption College volunteers weeded, repainted and cleaned the Nelson Place School yard. They were joined in the city spruce-up effort by Worcester Mayor Joseph O’Brien.
