A new $39 million Aetna garage in the Asylum Hill neighborhood has been approved by the Hartford Design Review Board and the city’s planning and zoning commission.
The design of the new 1,605 space garage, to be built on Sigourney Street, will match the main brick exterior of the Aetna building. It will also replace the existing parking deck structure.
“The pieces are beginning to come together for the relocation of 3,400 employees to the Asylum Hill campus of the Aetna,” said Hartford Mayor Eddie A. Perez.
