Massachusetts is expected to lose one of its 10 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The news of the lost seat came out this morning during a press conference on the 2010 U.S. Census results.
Overall, the U.S. population increased from 281 million in 2000 to 308 million in 2010.
New York and Ohio will each lose two of its congressional seats as part of the reapportionment while Texas will add four seats.
