Sterling-based home goods company, Wonder Products, has been approved by the North Central Massachusetts Development Corp. of Fitchburg for a $50,000 loan for marketing, capital for growth, and production of inventory of the company’s signature Wonder Plunger product.
“With the support of the North Central Massachusetts Development Corporation, we will be able
to expand our product reach through creative marketing efforts while also increasing our inventory and capital to bring consumers a unique plunger that provides a collapsible concept,
aesthetically pleasing colors and a one-handed operational format to make our bathrooms Cleaner,” said company founder, Michelle Salas in a Monday press release.
Salas founded the company in 2016 with help from the Clark University Small Business Development Center in Worcester.
The North Central Massachusetts Development Corp. is the economic development arm of the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce. The NCMDC is a microloan lender that can provide loans of up to $250,000 for working capital, real estate, equipment, inventory, expansion and working with our banking partners to provide gap financing for the final piece of a project.
