The Trolley Yard retail plaza off Park Avenue and Grove Street in Worcester is getting two new banks, a salon and a day care in its latest phase.
Those new tenants include the first locations in the immediate Worcester area for both Rockland Trust and Workers Credit Union.
Nkd Waxing, Lashes & Makeup, which is now in Kelley Square, will move to the Trolley Yard, according to Auburn-based Galaxy Development, which is building the center.
A day care and early education center called Goddard School is the first named tenant for a two-story building totaling 40,500 square feet to be the last of the plaza's four buildings. Goddard School has Central Massachusetts locations in Auburn, Bellingham, Northborough and Wayland.
The Trolley Yard, which is being built on a former Worcester Regional Transit Authority facility site, also includes a Chipotle, Starbucks and Orangetheory Fitness, among others.
Rockland Trust, which opened its first commercial lending office in Worcester last year, and Workers Credit Union, which is building its new main office in Littleton, will add to a dense stretch of banks already on the Grove Street and Gold Star Boulevard corridor. The area already has a UniBank, Commerce Bank, Bank of America, United Bank, Santander Bank and a Digital Federal Credit Union, and bankHometown has a new location under construction.
