Littleton-based equestrian supplies retailer Dover Saddlery said it swung to a $882,000 profit in the fourth quarter from a $13.9 million loss the prior year.
Revenue for the quarter increased by 3.7 percent to $22.1 million, while same-store sales increased by 3.1 percent.
For the year, the company reported a $904,000 profit on revenue of $76.2 million, a dip from the $78 million it brought in during 2008. Dover reported a $13.8 million net loss in 2008.
The company said retail store revenue was up 12.3 percent compared to the prior year while same-store sales were down 2.3 percent overall.
