Medical supplies distributor Owens & Minor has renewed its lease and more-than tripled its warehouse space at 20 Freedom Way in Franklin.
The property is owned by TA Associates Realty. Virginia-based Owens & Minor had previously leased 47,459 square feet there, but the new lease expands the company's warehouse space to 147,578 square feet.
Boston commercial real estate broker Richards Barry Joyce & Partners represented TA Associates, a large commercial and residential real estate manager, also based in Boston.
Owens & Minor was represented by Dallas, Tex.-based commercial real estate firm Jackson & Cooksey. The company has been in its Franklin location for six years.
The warehouse market around the southern end of Interstate 495 had a vacancy rate of about 20 percent as of the end of 2009, RBJ said.
