Gov. Deval Patrick is expected at the eClinicalWorks campus in Westborough at noon, where he will preside over a celebration of an expansion of the company’s headquarters.
The company purchased its new headquarters at 2 Technology Dr. last year for $4.5 million, according to the Worcester County Registry of Deeds.
The medical software company received a $190,000 tax break from the town in March. It was Westborough’s first-ever tax increment financing plan (TIF).
The tax break was an incentive for the company to keep its headquarters and approximately 400 jobs in Westborough. The company had been looking at various locations after outgrowing its building at the Westborough Executive Park on Route 9.
