Marlborough Company To Operate Mass511

Marlborough-based Sendza has been chosen by the state to provide an updated traveler information service to commuters that will be known as Mass511.
The system allows drivers to call in to receive personalized traffic alerts for Massachusetts roadways.
It will be run at no cost to the state Department of Transportation because Sendza will include interactive marketing components in the messages to cover the costs of the program.
The 511 traveler alert system has been in place since 1994 but will be relaunched by Sendza in May.
The Marlborough company specializes in new media messaging services.
