Kentucky-based JBC Entertainment Inc. is selling the Jillian's billiards and entertainment complex at 315 Grove St. in Worcester to Revolution Entertainment Co.
Under Revolution's ownership, Jillian's will be managed by Scot Neri, the former general manager of the Irish Times pub on Main Street, according to Chris George, president of George & Co., a Worcester-based business brokerage.
George & Co. had Jillian's listed for sale at $800,000. The deal for the sale of the business has not yet closed and George would not confirm price. He said it would be a mostly cash deal. The Jillian's property is owned by Jane Lavine through 315 Grove Street LLC. Revolution Entertainment is buying only the business, not the real estate.
Jillian's has 14 locations around the country and plans to add several locations, George said.
The soon-to-be owners of the 16,000-square-foot Worcester location have entered into a licensing agreement with Jillian's, will continue to be known by that name and will use a new corporate logo and menu.
Revolution Entertainment also plans to make several improvements to make Jillian's a better place for live entertainment.
