The Boston area ranked second in online job postings for managers in a recent survey conducted by CareerCast.com.
According to CareerCast’s JobSerf Employment Index, recruitment activity for managers improved for the third consecutive month in July while showing the largest monthly gain since January 2008.
Job listings were up 17.8 points, bringing the index’s score for July to 78.2 from 60.4 the previous month.
California-based CareerCast said white-collar job seekers are seeing more opportunity than they have since last fall with Washington, D.C. topping the list of metropolitan areas for online job postings. Boston ranked second for postings followed by Seattle, Chicago and San Francisco.
