Worcester is the fourth most affordable housing market in the state, according to a new report from real estate company Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.
The survey found that the average listing price for a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house in the Worcester market was $296,039. Leominster, Spencer, Sturbridge, Charlton and Clinton also had average prices below $350,000.
The priciest area in Central Massachusetts is Sherborn, with an average listing price of $744,636. Wayland and Sudbury also had prices over $700,000.
The most expensive market in the state is Weston, with an average price of $1.2 million. The most affordable is Springfield, at $133,404.
