WBJ Podcast: The new West African eatery in Worcester Public Market

PHOTO/EDD COTE Emmanuel Larbi's restaurant Accra Girls is named after his mother and aunt (along with the Ghanaian capital) and features dishes like kelewele (fried plantains) and suya (meat skewers).

After finding success with his Accra Girls restaurant on Worcester's Grafton Street, Emmanuel Larbi is opening his second location -- Akra Eatery and Juice Bar -- in Worcester Public Market.

Larbi joins the podcast to talk about the exciting new developments in the Canal District around the market, the uniqueness of Ghanaian food, how coronavirus impacted his plans, and how entrepreneurs can play a role in the push for racial justice.
