Virtusa adds 10th member to board of directors
Southborough information technology company Virtusa Corp. has appointed the former CEO of India-based Wipro, Abidali Neemuchwala, to its board of directors, the company announced on Friday.
Neemuchwala’s appointment is effective immediately, according to the announcement. He will join the board as a class III director, standing for election at Virtusa’s 2022 annual shareholder meeting.
Neemuchwala’s appointment marks an expansion of the company’s board to 10 members.
Before Wipro, Neemuchwala served as global head of business process services for the India-based Tata Consultancy Services. He has more than 28 years of experience in information technology.
