Ursula Hanus has worked in health care and skilled nursing for more than a decade, in positions including office management, admissions, staffing and marketing. A. No day is alike!!
Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. Adapting to the current changes in the industry, you're always looking to find new ways to generate referrals.
Q. How different is this job from your previous position?
A. Not much is different; many pieces of the job are identical, just learning the new players, accounts and community.
Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. Pretty close, as I majored in health sciences and administration. I always knew I would be in health care.
Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. Val's Restaurant
Q. What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
A. Maybe an executive director or an administrator.
