As part of a merger, Northborough-based Swiftec IT Inc. has hired Renato Paiva, founder of Rhode Island’s BITS Inc., as a senior technician.
When BITS Inc. merged into Swiftec, Paiva brought his 15 years of experience in technology to the company. He is a Microsoft certified systems engineer and certified Lotus Notes specialist with experience in Novell Netware. He has provided disaster recovery solutions to many companies and assisted with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Swiftec serves all of Central Massachusetts, offering outsourced IT, managed services, security, web site hosting and development and secure automated remote backups.
