Seracare Gets New Board Members

Milford-based life sciences company Seracare has named Joseph Nemmers, a former Abbott Laboratories executive, as its new board chairman and has also welcomed Kevin Hrusovsky, president and CEO of Hopkinton-based Caliper Life Sciences, to the company's board.
Nemmers retired from Abbott in 2007 after spending 27 years with the company, including most recently as executive vice president for the company's medical products division. Since then, he's been a consultant for the medical device industry.
Hrusovsky joined Caliper after serving as president and CEO of Zymark Corp., which Caliper bought.
