Rollstone Bank and Trust of Fitchburg has appointed Tony Rakic as executive vice president and chief lending officer, replacing Michael Olson, who is retiring after 17 years with the bank.
"Since joining Rollstone, Tony has used his years of experience and depth of expertise to benefit our customers who are seeking guidance and opportunity in order to grow and prosper," Rollstone President and CEO Martin Connors said in a Tuesday press release.
Rakic was previously the senior vice president for commercial lending at Rollstone. He holds an MBA from Clark University in Worcester and completed his undergraduate studies at Worcester State University.
“In the chief lending officer position, Tony will oversee the entire lending team and portfolio, help minimize risk to the bank, and support the bank’s strategic initiatives. We are grateful to Mike for his years of hard work and dedication and are confident that Tony will continue to do a great job,” said Connors.
Rakic was a member of WBJ's 40 Under Forty Class of 2005.
Olson will remain with the company in an advisory capacity and to help with the transition.
