Rentschler Biopharma, a global contract development and manufacturing organization with offices in Germany and Milford, announced on Monday it has been named among “Germany's most attractive employers” by the F.A.Z. Institute, a German market management institution.
This is the fourth time that Rentschler Biopharma has received the award and the second time that it has won first place in the biopharma category.
The award comes after Rentschler Biopharma saw significant growth in their human resources. During 2021, Rentschler Biopharma hired over 300 employees with 200 of these hires located in Germany and the other 80 working at its United States’ division, per the release.
“We can provide machines, bioreactors, software infrastructure and buildings. But at the end of the day, it is the employees who bring our value chain to life,” said Dr. Frank Mathias, CEO of Rentschler Biopharma.
In addition to the “most attractive employer” honor, Rentschler Biopharma was awarded a silver medal for their environmental practices after applying for a Ecovadis Sustainability Certificate, one of the world's most trusted business sustainability ratings, according to the announcement.
