Polar Beverages inks distribution deal with Johnny Damon, Bo Jackson drink company

A-GAME Beverages, a beverage company whose board members include former Red Sox Johnny Damon and former MLB/NFL All-Star Bo Jackson, announced on Monday that Worcester drink manufacturer Polar Beverages will be the company’s Northeast distribution partner for the A-GAME’s line of hydration-focused products.

"Polar is thrilled to enter into this new partnership with A-GAME and Red Sox royalty, Johnny Damon. We will be producing in our Georgia facility, as well as distributing all throughout New England," said Polar Beverages president and CEO Ralph Crowley Jr in a statement provided to WBJ.

A-GAME describes their product as a next generation sports drink that replenishes the body and quenches thirst naturally, utilizing ingredients such as sea salt and honey.

"This partnership marks the coming together of two prominent companies in the beverage industry," Randall Greene, CEO and co-founder of A-GAME Beverages said in a Monday press release. "Polar's reputation, history, and vast distribution network will build on the A-GAME momentum throughout the Northeast."

In addition to Damon and Jackson, other current and former athletes involved in A-GAME include NASCAR driver Ryan Seig and professional water skier Thomas Degasperi.

A-GAME was founded in 2020 and is based in Orlando, Florida.
