Solmetex, LLC, a Northborough-based provider of amalgam separators and other waste compliance products for dentists’ offices, acquired Sterisil, a dental product supplier in Colorado specializing in dental unit water line infection control products.
The acquisition positions Solmetex both in the dental water treatment and safety management markets domestically and internationally, according to Solmetex’s Wednesday announcement.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, nor were the details on what would become of Sterisil's employees and facilities.
"This is an incredibly exciting time for Solmetex and I am confident that adding Sterisil to our platform will ensure growth and expansion opportunities as we continue to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality, reliable products. I look forward to collaborating with the team to develop and execute our strategic vision for a successful future," said Gene Dorff, Solmetex CEO, in a written press release.
