Maugel Architects, Inc. in Harvard is changing its name to unify its company after a 2019 acquisition of DeStefano Architects in Portsmouth, N.H.
The new corporate name, Maugel DeStefano Architects, reflects the blending of the two companies as they expand their market positions and geographical reaches throughout New England, according to a Thursday announcement.
Daily operations will remain unchanged at the company’s Harvard and Portsmouth locations.
“The business synergies realized from the acquisition three years ago have far exceeded our client acquisition and revenue growth projections,” said Brent Maugel, founder and president of Maugel DeStefano Architects. “Our new name reflects the rich legacy of both firms and our continued optimism for the future.”
