Anna Maria College in Paxton hired the following full-time faculty members: PATRICIA BARTZAK, assistant professor, nursing; LUKE BUFFENMYER, assistant professor, graphic design: ARNE CHRISTENSEN, assistant professor, biology/health sciences; DAVID DANIELS, assistant professor and director of the fire science programs; HAMID KUSHA, associate professor, criminal justice; KYLE THOMSEN, assistant professor, philosophy; MICHAEL LOMBARDO, assistant professor, theology; ANDREA WALLEN, associate professor, nursing; and THEODORA WELCH, assistant professor, business.
JOHN GNIADEK was hired as vice president of services and support at Natick-based Nasuni. Prior to joining the enterprise storage company, Gniadek was vice president of worldwide professional services at Autonomy.
DAVID CUNNIFF was promoted to associate coach of the Worcester Sharks. It's his 11th season with the San Jose Sharks organization, the previous 10 as assistant coach for the team's American Hockey League affiliate.
RICHARD L. WEINER was hired as a vice president of Westborough-based accounting and consulting firm Alexander, Aronson, Finning & Co. He earned his bachelor of science from Boston University and his master's of science in taxation from Bentley University in Waltham.
Gardner-based GFA Federal Credit Union promoted branch managers BETTY ANDERS, LYNN HEBERT, ROBERT JUMPER and EDMOND PERRY to assistant vice president roles. Anders joined GFA in 2007. Hebert joined the GFA team in 2006. Jumper began his career with GFA in 2006 and serves as branch manager of the credit union's main office. Perry joined GFA in 2007.
LEIGH S. HARTER was hired as a managing director at Southborough-based life insurance advisory firm Pinnacle Financial Group, in its private client practice. She previously worked for The Insurance Design Center. Harter has a bachelor's in business administration and economics from DePaul University in Chicago.
KEN BROWN was promoted by Simon Property Group as area mall manager of Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough. This is in addition to his current role managing The Mall at Chestnut Hill. Brown graduated from Towson State University in Towson, Md. He lives in Tewksbury.
MICHAEL AHERN was hired by Worcester Polytechnic Institute to be its first director of power systems engineering. Ahern had previously served for seven years as vice president of utility services at Northeast Utilities. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from WPI; a master's in applied mechanics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y; and a master's in business administration from Rensselaer.
DANIEL F. DiTULLIO was hired by Assumption College as executive assistant for government and community relations. He served for more than five years in the office of Massachusetts State Rep. Harold P. Naughton Jr., D-Clinton. He is a 2001 graduate of Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vt. DiTullio lives in Clinton.
PAUL BELSITO was hired by The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester as community relations manager. He was previously executive assistant for government and community relations at Assumption College in Worcester. He graduated from Assumption in 2000.
KRISTA BUCKLAND REISNER was promoted by Worcester Chamber Music Society to business development director. She joined the society in 2007 as lead violinist and for the past three years has held the positions of summer festival director and assistant marketing and development director for the society. She has a master's in music from Mannes College in New York.
ANGELA C. SARNA and SABRINA L. WEBB were promoted to branch managers by Southbridge Savings Bank. Sarna has been an assistant manager at the bank's Webster location since 2007. Webb is assistant branch manager of the Charlton branch.
RYAN CLUTTERBUCK and BRENDON DAVIS were promoted by The Davis Cos., headquartered in Marlborough. Clutterbuck is now director of divisional operations, and Davis was promoted to director of business operations. Clutterbuck earned his degree in business management from Bridgewater State University while Davis received his bachelor's degree in sociology from University of New Hampshire in Durham.
