DOLORES THIBAULT-MUÑOZ has been named president elect of the board of the Boston-based Massachusetts Public Health Alliance. Having served as a board member since 2019, Thibault-Muñoz is chair of the governance committee. Thibault-Muñoz works as an attorney at Tansley | Halloran in Worcester and previously served as deputy director of NewVue Communities, a Fitchburg-based economic development nonprofit.
FREDERICK MISILO, shareholder at Fletcher Tilton in Worcester, has been elected chair of the board of directors of Foundation of the Arc of the United States. The foundation benefits the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit The Arc, which advocates for the human rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In Misilo’s new role, he will serve as a brand ambassador, working to increase The Arc’s support base, spread awareness of the organization, and offer strategic advice to the board.
The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts in Worcester has named LEAH BRADLEY, ARTHUR DUBOIS, and MORGAN RUSSELL to its board of directors. With more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, system change, and program development, Bradley serves as the CEO of Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance in Worcester. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Connecticut and her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University. DuBois is a licensed clinical social worker who has assisted individuals with mental health conditions, emotional difficulties, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. He graduated with his master’s degree in social work from Rhode Island College and his bachelor’s degree from Salem State University. Russell is an attorney who founded her own law firm, focusing her practice on child welfare litigation and real estate transactions with experience in foreclosure defense, housing law, adult guardianship, and conservator cases. She graduated with her law degree from Massachusetts School of Law in Andover and her bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.
Mirick O’Connell in Worcester has hired ERIN BOUCHER as an of counsel in the firm’s litigation group and SYDNEY STRAUB as an associate in its labor and employment law group at its Westborough office. Boucher works with medical professionals for medical malpractice and other professional liability matters. With more than 20 years of experience, she represents clients in civil litigation cases including construction disputes, commercial litigation, product liability, and premises liability. Straub will center her practice on labor and employment law, especially within the education and healthcare industries. Previously, she served as a summer associate at Mound Cotton Wollan & Greengrass LLP in New York. Straub graduated from Boston University School of Law and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA.
JAMES MONETTE has been promoted to vice president, director of retail banking and business development at MutualOne Bank, headquartered in Framingham. Having most recently served as vice president, director of retail banking, Monette will add to his responsibilities overseeing the bank’s retail branch offices, now also supervising MutualOne’s business development and relationship management. He graduated with his master’s degree from Assumption University in Worcester and bachelor’s degree in communications from Fitchburg State University.
BRITTANY PALMERINO has joined Mathieu Newton Sotheby’s International Realty in Westborough. Palmerino is a member of the Community Action Committee of the Realtor Association of Central Massachusetts, based in Auburn, and was named as one of the organization’s 2024 Top Producers.
