Beginning March 10, those riding the Worcester commuter rail line will have more options.
According to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), every station along the 44-mile line through Framingham and into Boston’s South Station will have increased service.
There will be changes in times as well as additional stops. There will be three more weekday inbound stops from Worcester’s Union Station to South Station, including two early morning, and four more Worcester stops from South Station.
The new schedule follows renovations of the Yawkey commuter rail station, adjacent to Fenway Park and the Longwood Medical area, the MBTA said.
