Marlborough is gearing up for thousands of visitors as it hosts 91 soccer games over two days this weekend.
According to the Marlborough Economic Development Corp., 56 Girls U11 and U12 teams will play across six fields in the city on Saturday and Sunday as part of the 37th Needham Memorial Day Soccer Tournament.
ForeKicks II Sports Complex will also host 22 College Showcase games over the weekend in addition to eight playoff semi-finals and four finals on Monday. Games will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
According to the MEDC, 40,000 spectators are expected to watch more than 900 teams and 16,000 players from the United States, Canada and England during the tournament across 25 sites around Boston, including Framingham and Hopkinton.
The MEDC said 75 hotels in Central Massachusetts are fully booked for the weekend and restaurants are preparing for a surge of visitors.
