Netezza Corp. has renewed and expanded its lease at its 26 Forest St. headquarters in Marlborough.
Netezza, which makes data warehouse equipment and analytics, currently occupies 68,000 square feet on the first, second and third floors of the Forest Street office building. Under terms of the new lease, the company will expand its presence by about 20,000 square feet.
Netezza's expansion brings the building to 100 percent occupancy. The building is owned by Great Point Investors of Boston. Richards Barry Joyce & Partners represented Great Point in the deal, while FHO Partners represented Netezza. Both RBJ and FHO are based in Boston.
Netezza separately announced today that MetroPCS Wireless, the marketer of flat-rate cell phone contracts, has chosen a Netezza hardware product to manage its data.
