An 18,000 square-foot retail building located at 135 Maple Street in Marlborough has been sold, and will be renovated for occupancy by the hardware store Monnock Supply Co. Inc., according to R.W. Holmes Realty Co. Inc.
R.W. Holmes brokered the deal between the seller, Bonazzoli Realty Trust and the buyer, Gremar Realty Trust. The building, which sits on 1.3 acres, sold for just under $1.4 million.
The unoccupied Maple Street building will become one of Monnock Supply Co. Inc.'s two locations. The family-owned hardware store has locations on East Main Street in Marlborough and Waverley Street in Framingham. When renovations are complete, the company will move its East Main Street operation to the Maple Street location.
