Steve Buchalter, owner of Enterprise Cleaning Corp., has announced his candidacy for Worcester City Council.
Buchalter is running for a position as councilor-at-large and is holding a campaign fundraiser Thursday evening at downtown restaurant 55 Pearl.
In a statement, Buchalter said he’s gained the support of Worcester County Sheriff Guy Glodis and will focus on public safety, community development and economic growth.
Buchalter founded Enterprise in 2003 and is a member of several chambers of commerce and other business-related organizations.
Enterprise earned Top Growth awards from the WBJ in 2006, 2007 and last year.
