Data storage firm Iron Mountain, which has operations in Southborough and Northborough, has agreed to acquire a Colombian records management firm for about $54 million, the Boston-based company said.
The acquisition of Secure Data Solutions Colombia and G4S Document Delivery, the Colombian records management and data protection division of G4S, represents Iron Mountain’s second transaction in Latin America this year, the company said. The deal is expected to close by the end of September and is subject to customary closing conditions, Iron Mountain said.
G4S is a global security and outsourcing provider. Iron Mountain said the acquisition will allow it to further integrate its existing Latin America business, which includes operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru.
