Hanover Introduces Assisted Living Coverage

The Hanover Insurance Group of Worcester said it is making a line that allows homeowners to extend coverage to family members in assisted living facilities.
The coverage can be added to new or existing home policies for spouses, parents or children living in assisted care facilities. The coverage is available to more than one relative and covers personal property up to $10,000 for hearing aids, eyeglasses, dentures and other similar devices.
Personal liability coverage of up to $300,000 is also available through the plan and living expenses of up to $6,000 are available if a facility ceases operation.
