Hanover Creates Small Tech Business Insurance Program
Worcester property and casualty insurer The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has added a new coverage line for small technology businesses.
The insurer said the product covers liabilities for errors, omissions and breaches of warranties and extends general liability coverage against litigation from around the world. The new class also offers property coverage in more than 30 different areas including: workers' compensation, umbrella, commercial automobile and marine classes, among others.
The insurer hopes to expand into the middle-sized technology business market later this year.
Hanover has also been expanding its business westward, announcing earlier this month a partnership with ICW Group that will extend Hanover operations to western states.
