The Westborough-based Female Leadership Interest Council has appointed three new advisory board members: Caitlin Connelly, Kim Harmon and Kathryn "Kathy" Zingg Hunter.
Connelly is a green energy consultant and project manager who previously worked in green energy for the United Nations. Since 1990, she has worked in different capacities for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the United Nations.
Harmon is founder and CEO of Harmon Home Health Care in Worcester, which she opened in 2006. Previously, she worked as director of a home health agency serving government-subsidized clients. Today, her company's revenues are close to $2 million, and it employs 75 caregivers and eight office staff.
Hunter is president and CEO of YMCA of Central Massachusetts. She began her career with the Y as a teen outreach worker at the Springfield YMCA and later took charge of membership and marketing for the organization. She became associate executive director at the Y's Central Community Branch in Worcester in 1987, and moved up at the organization over time, taking her current position in 2004.
