Danforth Museum Changes Name
The Danforth Museum in Framingham has changed its name to Danforth Art, which museum officials said combines the strengths of the museum and its school.
“With the museum and school working in tandem, Danforth Art is able to offer the public well-rounded visual thinking and creating skills,” a statement from the organization read.
The 38-year-old Danforth also changed its logo, which officials called important as they seek national recognition for the organization’s approach to arts education through its exhibits.
Located on Union Avenue in Framingham, the Danforth plans to move into a new location on Vernon Street, near the Framingham Centre green.
