Clean Tech Group To Leave Cambridge For Texas

The Clean Technology & Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI) is moving its headquarters from Cambridge to Austin.

CTSI is a nonprofit whose mission is to advance "the commercialization and global adoption of clean technologies and sustainable industry practices."

The group was recruited to Texas by Austin Energy, an electric utility and founding member of CTSI, and the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Its new headquarters will be shared with the Innovate Texas Foundation.

"I am very pleased to welcome CTSI to Texas," said Texas Gov. Rick Perry in a press release issued by Innovate Texas. "Their move from Massachusetts is yet another sign of our state's leadership position in developing clean technologies."
