The Devereux Center of Massachusetts in Rutland welcomed six new board members at the annual meeting of its advisory board.
The new members are: John Harrity, owner of Harrity Appliance Service and a commercial real estate broker with Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates in Worcester; Tammy Hessberger, vice president of marketing and distribution at The Hanover Insurance Group; Cynthia Johnson, television and film producer; Sharri Merz, retired pediatric nurse; Michael Mudd, senior vice president of the Worcester Sharks; David O'Donnell, president of The Patriot Financial Group and Meridith Viano, child welfare advocate.
During the meeting the retiring board members, Michael F. Baker, Alina O. Chand, Lewis G. Evangelidis and Benjamin J. Hilliker were thanked for their years of service, and after the meeting the Devereux community joined in reviewing the organization's strategic plan for the past and upcoming years.
