Back In My Day, We Mailed It In

According to the results of a Creative Group Survey, 85 percent of advertising and marketing executives say the profession is more demanding now than it was a decade ago.

Today's advertising and marketing careers are much more demanding than they were 10 years ago, according to 53 percent of the 250 executives polled by Creative Group. Another 32 percent of respondents said the profession is somewhat more demanding than it was 10 years ago.

Respondents said the most difficult career challenge for today's advertising and marketing professionals is balancing work and personal obligations. Staying current on industry trends and technology was said to be most difficult by 28 percent of respondents.
