Alan Green, an experienced housing development administrator, has been named the new executive director of the Hartford Housing Authority.
Green is an experienced executive with a proven track record for developing innovative programs and administrative policies for housing, philanthropic, and governmental organizations, according to a statement from Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez’s office. Previously, he was president and CEO with New Samaritan Corp., a developer of affordable and elderly housing in Hamden, where he directed and managed all aspects of the organization including budget, finance, administration and real estate.
Green will start in the new position in January 2008.
