Jo-Serena Rodriguez won the 2012 Prudential Life Concierge Achiever Award from Prudential Insurance Co. of America. The award recognizes top-performing financial professionals in life insurance sales and service. Rodriguez has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Worcester State University. She is a resident of Worcester.
Geraldine St. Jean and Richard Shulman of Worcester-based Columbia Tech — a contract manufacturing subsidiary of Coghlin Cos. Inc.— earned honorable mentions for the 2012 GINA Award from Evolutions in Business of Chelmsford, for meeting export compliance standards.
George Gilligan of Worcester-based Central Mass Scuba received the Scuba Diving Instructor of the Year Award by International Divers Educational Association. Central Mass Scuba was also awarded Training Center of the Year honors by the IDEA.
Clinton-based Injectronics was named 2012 Vendor of The Year by flexible media storage system XpresspaX. Injectronics has been a supplier to XpresspaX since 2000.
The Worcester Center for Nonviolent Solutions recognized three local leaders with awards recently: Patricia Ryan, a teacher at Goddard Academy Sullivan Middle School, received a Community Peacemaker Award; T. Lee Associates an Organizational Peacemaker Award; and Sean Minahan received a Young Peacemaker Award for his volunteer efforts. n
