Accolades & Honors

Worcester-based Pagano Media won two W3 Awards from the International Academy of the Visual Arts for web design, in honor of its work on websites for Worcester County Food Bank and a Washington, D.C., charter school. The multimedia production firm was founded in 1980.

North Brookfield Savings Bank won a five-star rating from BauerFinancial Inc. — the nation's bank rating firm — for the 79th consecutive quarter. The latest rating is based on financial data from June 30. The bank has garnered an even more elite status as a “Sustained Superiority Bank.”

The Training Associates — a training talent firm based in Westborough — was ranked No. 2,602 on the eighth annual Inc. 500|5000 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. as compiled by Inc. magazine. The ranking marks the fifth time The Training Associates has earned a spot on the list.

John R. Parsons Jr., CEO of Parsons Commercial Group of Framingham, was honored by the Art beCAUSE Breast Cancer Foundation, also of Framingham. He was recognized with five other honorees at a Boston gala last month for his contributions to the organization.

The Davis Cos. of Marlborough passed its 18th annual ISO 9001:2008 audit to maintain ISO certification, an international quality management system standard, through National Quality Assurance USA.

Patricia Mallios was named Grassroots Professional of the Year by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), for her work in furthering advocacy efforts. She has served as the ACS CAN grassroots manager for Massachusetts since 2012.

The late Barbara J. Sinnott, former Worcester city councilor and president of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of New England, had a scholarship named in her honor. The Barbara J. Sinnott Scholarship Fund will provide $4,000 to students who demonstrate a commitment to BBB ideals. Also, the BBB's Training Center was dedicated in her honor.

Clark University Graduate School of Management in Worcester was again chosen as one of the leading business schools in the U.S. by The Princeton Review in its publication, The Best 296 Business Schools. The list is compiled with feedback from 21,600 students. n
