A Hooker settles in Bloomfield

After nearly a decade in its cramped Hartford facility, the Thomas Hooker Brewing Co. has moved its operations to a roomier 8,000 square-foot industrial building in Bloomfield. The brewing company’s new facility on Tobey Road will be home to production, bottling and kegging operations, including a tasting bar open to the public for tours on Fridays and Saturdays. “By building a brewery where people can come and experience what, where, and how the beer is made and packaged, we intend on establishing a local pride around a nationally recognized brand,” Curt Cameron, president of THBC, said in a statement.
