Birthplace: Leominster
Residence: Leominster
High school: Leominster High School
Colleges and degrees earned: B.S. in industrial engineering, WPI; MBA, Boston College
Career highlights: I view my activities holistically — I don't separate community and career, nor do I have specific highlights. In all, I am very proud of the results that I've delivered in the workplace and that I've helped our region by stewarding education, working to maintain the arts, and serving my city.
Community involvement: Community involvement is, in a way, the family business and something I hold dear. I'm privileged to serve on the board of trustees at Fitchburg State University, the Leominster Planning Board, and the board of directors at the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster. I also stay politically active.
Ultimate career goal: To own and run community-centered businesses in Central Massachusetts and serve the commonwealth in elected office.
Non-relative you admire most: Benjamin Franklin
Favorite book: “Moby Dick”
Hidden talents: My father always enjoyed car rides and so do I. I know my way around the backroads of Central Massachusetts about as well as anyone.
“If I were to win $1 million in the lottery, I would … hit the Cape for some 'future planning' with my family!”
