Asst. VP & Consumer Lending Officer, Clinton Savings Bank
Company location: Clinton
Residence: Clinton
Age: 38
Career highlights: As a Clinton Savings Bank employee since 1987, I have learned almost every aspect of banking through working in various customer service, managerial and operational capacities. As I became more experienced and further educated in finance and lending, I knew I wanted to pursue managing a lending unit.
Community involvement: I have been an active member of the Clinton Exchange Club for more than 10 years and will be serving this year as a member of the board of directors after serving for almost seven years as the treasurer. One of my greatest accomplishments was working with the Rev. Tomasz Borkowski of The Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Jasna Gora in Clinton to open a food pantry. I am also an active member of the Wachusett Chamber of Commerce, having served on various committees over the years.
Biggest success: My biggest success was being name assistant vice president of consumer lending at Clinton Savings Bank. It was a newly created position for me to lead efforts to maximize consumer-loan business, train the sales department and establish a quality-control process for consumer lending. However, some of my greatest professional successes have been in helping individuals and families achieve some of their dreams.
Biggest challenge: My biggest challenge professionally has been deciding which path to take in my career in banking. There are many opportunities and selecting the right ones for me has been a welcome challenge.
Mentors: My mentor is Joe Guercio, a senior vice president and senior loan officer at Clinton Savings Bank. In working with Joe for more than 17 years, he has provided me with the guidance, direction, patience and experience that has allowed me to achieve much of what I’ve aspired to. He has been there as a beacon for me, my career and is simply a wonderful person all around.
