Worcester Entrepreneur Featured In Good Houskeeping

Kimberly Harmon, founder and CEO of Harmon Home Health in Worcester, is one of three female entrepreneurs profiled in the June issue of the national magazine Good Housekeeping.

Harmon, a former Worcester Business Journal 40 Under Forty and Health Care Hero honoree, was singled out in the article for spotting a new niche in the health care field. According to the article, Harmon was working at a home health care agency when she decided to strike out on her own in 2006 to provide "high-quality help at reasonable rates" to the elderly and their families.

The other women profiled in the Good Housekeeping piece are Wendy Steele, the founder of BluePrint Resumes in Kennesaw, Ga., and Emily Caswell, founder of GCD Spa in Topsham, Maine.
