The Commerce Insurance Co. of Webster says it plans to keep its name and introduce a new company logo that includes the wording “A MAPFRE Company” in phases over the next year.
Commerce was acquired by the Spanish insurance giant MAPFRE last June.
Commerce said it would do away with its current logo and introduce a new one with the MAPFRE reference beginning with the company’s web site. The new logo will be introduced in corporate advertising and marketing initiatives throughout the year.
