A developer behind a proposal to demolish a Clinton warehouse and replace it with three retail buildings and a gas station has bought the site for $1.45 million.

Clinton Real Estate Development LLC, a Needham-based entity sharing an address and management with Waterstone Properties Group, purchased the site in a deal finalized on March 3, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records. The property was purchased from 830-894 Main St. Realty Corp., a Brooklyn-based entity.

The site was approved for a four-building development in a Nov. 4 meeting of the Clinton Planning Board. Plans call for the construction of a New World Gas station, a Wendy’s restaurant, and a Starbucks location. The development will also include a Chase Bank location and an additional retail space.

The 120,000-square-foot warehouse at the site is the former home of Continental Cabinetry & Plumbing Supply. It’s unclear when Continental ceased operations; but the phone number and website for the business are inactive, and the site is listed as vacant as of January, according to Town of Clinton property records.

Plans for the development call for the site to be split into four separate parcels. As it currently sits, 830-894 Main St. was given a 2025 tax assessment value of $1.68 million.
