U.S. News Rankings For Area Colleges
The annual U.S. News and World Report college rankings are out, and a number of Central Massachusetts schools placed in the top tiers in various categories.
Among national universities, Worcester Polytechnic Institute was ranked 62nd in the nation, while Clark University in Worcester was number 94.
Worcester's College of the Holy Cross was 29th on the national liberal arts colleges list.
On the list of regional universities in the north, Assumption College in Worcester was number 34 and Worcester State University was 136th.
Among regional colleges in the north, Dean College in Franklin came in at number 20, and Nichols College in Dudley was number 30.
