UMass Medical Affiliate Names Managing Director

UHealthSolutions Inc., a nonprofit Worcester health care management and consulting firm, has named a new chief executive, the company announced.
David P. Crosby, former president of the eastern Pennsylvania region for HealthAmerica, a 250,000-member health plan, has been named managing director. UHealthSolutions, formerly Public Sector Partners, Inc., employs 130 in the city. Crosby has also held executive-level positions at HealthPlus of Michigan, Kaiser Permanente in Ohio and with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western New York.
UHealthSolutions is an affiliate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School and its health care consulting division, Commonwealth Medicine.
